Delayed Periods. History Of Intake Of Plan B And Getting Early Periods, Irregular Periods After Childbirth. Opinion?
Hi, My son is 10 months old. I have had about 5 periods with a 45 menstrual cycle since he was born. According to the 45 day cycle I was suppose to get my menstrual period on the 26 of July and I have not got anything. I also took the plan b pill sometime in June and got my period a week earlier (at 35 days from previous one. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I do not know what is going on?
It is possible that the Plan B might be responsible for causing irregular periods and you might require to be placed on birth control pills in order to get your menstrual cycle regular again. Also considering the fact that you are with a 10 months old child, there could additional stress factor, hormonal imbalance etc that could also contribute to this. You might have to it some time before you have regular menstruation again or you see a gynobs for evaluation and prescription of medication to set your cycle back to normal.
Hope this helps
