12 months ago hemoglobin 2.6, had 7 blood transfusions immediately and 1 week later 1g iron infusion (no signs blood loss, had tests etc). My doctor took monthly blood tests and 5 mths later had another iron infusion 1g. Now 6 mths later all happening again and my doctor says I dont absorb iron. what now? (he has no answers)

previously i see blood in my stool .. and went for a blood test .. medical result fine, cancer markers clear, but shows i have mild anemia. (low iron and low blood count). the doctor prescribed me with 1 month of iron tabs supplement. after a few days of taking iron, my stool went back to normal ..... why ?
