Dark Purple Bruises, Not Painful Showing Up. Cause?
I have had strange, but not painful, bruises showing up on my inner ankle for the last few days. The newest one showed up this afternoon after wearing tennis shoes today (shoes are not tight). Bruises are very dark purple and have appeared over the last few days - no trauma , no known cause. Any idea what might be causing this? I take Cymbalta, Tylenol , and Meloxicam for arthritis .

Hi dark purple bruises over the body can be insect bite reaction or due to summer seasonal rash.i think it may not be due to drugs.whatever reason can be use antibiotic twice daily and application of flutibact ointment twice daily on the lesions can cure it.use of oral steriods for the short course can cure them
