Dark Brown Discharge Post Sex, Strong Smell. What Was The Smell?
hi there....
iv had my period! it finished two weeks ago! everything was fine! then my husband and i had sex and there was darkish brown stuff! ever since, everytime i go to the toilet, and wipe, there is always that same brown stuff on the paper! sometimes alot, sometimes just a little! and it has a strong smell! what could it be?
You had not mentioned your age in your medical history. Dark Brownish discharge is suggestive off mild bleeding and little deep seated one. Possibly from cervix. Cervical erosion, ulcers and a cervicitis have to be ruled out by a speculum examination by a Gynecologist. A pap smear is suggested to rule out cervical dysplasia and early malignant changes. It is better to have a consultation with a gynecologist and examination and investigations will rule out the infection and malignancy. Dr S.Murugan
