Dark, Black Spots On The Scalp, Small Hole Behind Retina Seen. IS It Melanoma ?
My son has four dark,black spots on the scalp.....I just noticed this since he had his hair cut short...he is training to be a Police Officer....these spots were not there afew months ago...he also was DX with a small mole behind the Retina and is being followed by a well respected opthomologist......please advise....thanks...should he have the black spots removed to see if they test out to be a melanoma ?

I think it is not a melanoma, since the effect of this shows redness of eye and various other effects , and since it only spots, there is no risk what so ever ,
I suggest you to follow the medication give by your doctor, and the problem will reside.
