Cyst In Ovary, Free Fluid In Cul De Sac. What Does This Indicate?

So my doctor just told me that i have a cyst in my left ovary which is 1.9cm and one in the right ovarie which is 4.0 cm also she told me that I have free fluid withing the cul de sac I wanna noe what does it mean and if having that fluid in the cul de sac kills the sperm that goes in after intercourse because I was trying to get pregnant about 6 month ago never used protection and never got prego so please tell me

Hello,

Bilateral cyst in the ovaries of this size(less than 5 cms) are only functional cysts.
You need not bother if it doesn't produce any functional irregularities.
3 months of Oral contraceptive pills will help in decreasing the size of the ovarian cysts.
But the issue is you want to get pregnant.
Free fluid in the sac indicates infection.(Pelvic inflammatory disease)
A course of antibiotic will help.
