Cyst In Groin Drained, Swelling In Right Ankle. Lump Near Shin. Related To Cyst Draining?

I recently had a syst in my groin drained, but I've noticed my right ankle swelled up and is sensitive to touch, I also have a small lump on the inside portion of my shin and my ankle has become discolored. My primary believes it is a bruise, but I don't remember bruising my shin or ankle. Could this be related to the syst draining?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

The pain in shin/ ankle is unlikely to be the result of cyst drainage in groin.

You might have had an injury which was trivial and it went unnoticed.

You can apply antiseptic ointment on the suspected bruise.
