Cuts And Bruise On Forehead Due To Accident. Normal CT Scan. Swelling In Forehead, Around Eyes. Reason?

My son was injured in a car accident. The glass breaking cause several cuts and bruise on his forehead , In ER they did ct scan of head, it was normal. He had more tha 20 stitche in different part of of forehead and two stiches on his scalp . I noticed more sweliing on his fore and aroung his both eye since today morning. What is the reason for that.

CT scan head of your son is normal, so there is nothing to worry. Some amount of swelling is expected due to soft tissue injury. Road traffic accidents are known for infection, so some swelling could be due to super added infection to the soft tissue injury.
