Cramps, Delayed Period, Not Sexually Active. Reason?

I've had my period regally for the past 2 years and it's always comes on or around the due date. This month, I am certain that I ovulated because I had bad pains and cramping on the day I have out down as my ovulating day, but now I'm 1 week late for my period with no change in my discharge to show any sign of it coming, why could this be ? I'm not sexually active.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for your delayed period for examination and investigation to rule out the cause and then treat you accordingly.
It may be because of hormonal imbalance, stress and change in life style also.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
