this is the pain of weak muscle. you get the muscle strength done, massage the leg and also apply oil to it, warm oil, it will be very soothing and relieves your pain in the leg

It could be due to dehydration, take lot of water with some salt and sugar in it this will help to relieve from the calf pain.

welcome to healthcare magic.
from you history it appears to be some neurological problem.
so consult a neurologist for detailed evaluation.
without examonation its difficult to give the cause of it.
for temporary relief you can give some massage to the part. so that blood circulation will be there and strength of the part will be maintained.maintain poper nutrition.
take care

Hello, I have had a cramp like feeling in my left calf for about 2 days. It came on feeling as just tightness not immediate like a cramp. When I am sitting on the couch with my leg bent there is relief. As soon as I stand up whether I put weight on it or not it begins to feel sharp pain like a cramp. I have attempted elevation and heat but no relief. Can you give me insight on a possible diagnosis?

About a month ago I was awoken in the middle of the night with a calf cramp. The pain never really went away and my calf still feels like it has a continuous Charlie horse. About 3 days ago I noticed that the ankle on the same leg is now swollen. The leg and ankle are not hot to the touch or turning color. There is no pain in my ankle at all, just my calf.

Hey, I m 24 female. Last night while sleeping I had a painful cramp on my calf that woke me up. Today I have a red bruising on my calf. Could the cramp have caused the bruise? More details: I m on no medication or blood thinners. Also I m not on the pill . I am slightly overweight and I walked for about half hour the day before, if that makes any difference.

i fell at work about a month ago and was diagnosed with a concussion, whiplash, head and scapula contusions, and this past weekend, I had an episode where the left side of my face became increasingly numb to an intense level and then it lessened. The next day, my colleagues at work said I had a slight L eye droop and L lip droop as well as L sided facial swelling. General neuro exam was normal ( checked by my fellow RN's for strength, pupil reaction, etc). I also have a small area on my face where there is a rash; L side of my face. Any ideas as to what could be going on? I was thinking possible facial nerve injury?

Thank you.

Hello, I am scheduled for surgery to have a partial pariodectomy for a pleomorphic adenoma. I am worried about facial nerve paralysis following this and would like to know would it be possible to use a EMS device which exercises the facial muscles following this surgery to help the facial nerve get back to normal?
