Could Vomiting And Diarrhoea Be Due To The Removal Of Gall Bladder?
I had my gallbladder out Jan 2013. Three weeks later they took another stone out of my bile duct. Some times my belly gets queasy after greasy food. Twice in The last two weeks, after a burger and fries I hve had vomiting and bad diarrhea? Today I thought I was dying. Any thoughts ?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Fatty foods have to be avoided post-gall bladder removal surgery. The function of gall bladder is to store and concentrate bile. Bile is required to emulsify and digest fatty foods. Removal of gall bladder does not have much consequence but digestion of fatty foods may be affected leading to gastric symptoms after taking fatty food. Thus, avoid fatty and greasy foods.
