Could Varicose Veins With Edema And Black Bumps On Veins Be Related To Having PCOS?

Hi, I have had varicose veins and both legs stripped back in 2000. Now my daughter is having problems with varicose veins, edema and has a couple of black bumps come up on the vein. She has taken a round of antibotics and the spot came back but the edema hasn t. She has PCOS would this have anything to do with it? Thanks Shelia

Hello,

It is not related to PCOS. If varicose veins is symptomatic you can opt for surgical repair. Consult a general or vascular surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
