Could Uterine Fibroids And Endometrial Mass Be A Matter Of Concern?

I am 40 years old, and I had a myomectomy in September last year. Last month, I noticed that my period appeared about 13 days earlier than it should, I was advised by my doctor to run an abdominal-pelvic scan which revealed normal abdominal organs and multiple uterine fibroids, endometrial mass, endometrial polyp and sub mucosal myoma. I hope to see my doctor with the result tomorrow but I am really bothered about the findings. Should really be worried?

Dear Madam,
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query.

I have gone through the problem discussed in your case.
Irregular periods are usually associated with multiple fibroids.
Since an endometrial mass and polyp were detected in your last abdomino-pelvic scan, the nature of these has to be ascertained.
It may be a benign or malignant.
A biopsy of the mass definitely is helpful in differentiating between benign and malignant lesion.

Hope your query has been explained .
Wishing you best of your health.
I find this answer helpful
