Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

No, oxygen saturation of 87% is not causing unconscious. But raised carbon dioxide (hypercarbia) can cause unconsciousness. So in my opinion, you should evaluate yourself for low oxygen and high carbon dioxide levels. For this, you need to consult pulmonologist and get done a clinical examination of the respiratory system, chest X-ray, PFT, 2D echo and CT thorax.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
