Could There Be Bleeding In Abdomen After Taking Milk Of Magnesia?

hi,i drink milk of magnesia but didnt read the warnings about stomach bleeding. now my waste is coming out alot darker than before at times seems to be black. its been close to a week since i drink the m o m. will the waste still this way or might it not be so dark. i understand about the bleed in the lower intestines froim the upper intestines thanks

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The darker stool might not be due to blood but it could be due to diet taken. If it creates the doubt, then the only option is to get the test done to rule out the presence of blood.

If you do have any gastric lesion like ulcer then the milk of magnesia should be taken with care or better to discuss this with your physician, but the presence of blood in stool needs to be confirmed.
