Could The Weird Feeling After The Intake Of Sugars Be Due To Reactive Hyperglycemia?

Hi! I am curious about a symptom that has happened to me about 3 times. After I eat something with sugar in it, I feel really weird, as if am intoxicated. I ve had my blood sugar tested, but they told me not to eat before it, so it came back normal. I never feel bad, I rarely get sick and I don t go to the restroom much. Could I be experiencing a type of reactive hyperglycemia?

Diabetologist 's  Response
dear sir I can understand your concern
in my opinion the symptoms what you mentioned might be reactive hypoglycemia
to confirm the diagnosis we need to take up some test called extended GTT

reactive hypoglycemia is seen in pre diabetes who are having excessive obesity

this test need to be done in fasting during test you will be given 75 gms of glucose and blood sugar will be tested once hourly for 3 hours
once results are ready we will go for further discussion
regards
