Could The Swollen Glands Be The Symptom Of HIV?
Hi,
I'm a 24 year old boy. I had a risk sexual contact with a VIH positive girl 14 months ago, and yesterday i made the VIH rapid test, with a negative result. The problem is that i have been suffering all this time a really strong periodontial disease that i havent treated yet and that now i have for the first time in my life swollen glands in many parts. My question is, could the periodontial disease immunodepresse me and make possible a late seroconversion to the VIH? or no periodontial disease could inmunodepresse so much?

No periodontal disease as such does not cause immuno-suppression , but they may be one of symptoms of HIV . HIV can't be diagnosed by symptoms alone. It needs to be diagnosed by blood testing .
