Could The Stabbing Pain In Abdomen Be Due To Implantation?

I have had normal/regular periods my whole life. For the past two months, my husband and I have started trying to have a baby. Both months, I had light spotting before my periods. I felt like it was Implantation Bleeding, but then my period showed up both months. I have even had sharp/stabbing pains in my left ovary this month. Do you think this is the implantation trying to take place and it just doesn t happen fully? or Do you think I have something else wrong? It seems strange to me that none of these symptoms happened until we started trying to get pregnant. Thank you.

hi healthcare magic user, from your description it looks that you shouldn't neglect above symptoms.
if I would have been your doctor I would have advised you to get urine pregnancy test. followed by pelvic examination to rule out ectopic pregnancy. if pregnancy test is negative then go for pelvic ultrasound to see whether ectopic pregnancy or ovarian cyst.
