I m very confused.for 3 days had white discharge and some very mild cramping i assumed it was an yeast infection but on the 4 day I began spotting orangish colored when I wiped only. now on 5 th day clear discharge still mild cramping off and on again my period is due in the next 2-5 days could this be implantation bleeding? When can I take an hpt and get an accurate result if my period doesn t show up?

Hi,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. The possible causes in the current scenario are an implantation bleeding or a premenstrual bleed or a vaginitis. Please see if you receive your next period on time and if there is a delay, go for the pregnancy test 3-7 days after the missed period. An infection also can delay a period. In this case, the blood test can be done to exclude pregnancy and the infection treated. Hope this helps.
