Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. I went through your description and you need not be scared as it does not appear to be gangrene. It is just a finger cut injury followed by an infection leading to discolouration and oozing out of pus like material. You can get it treated on out-patient basis by getting wound dressing done by using antiseptic solution. Also you need to take a course of antibiotics with anti-inflammatory analgesic medications. Gradually, the cut wound would heal by closure from inside by generating healthy granulation tissue. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
