Could The Pain In Eye Be Due To Lack Of Sleep?

Hello Doctor , I am 25 years old woman, I have spectacles from last 8 years(Eye sight is constant from last 3 years). i am having Left Eye Pain(feeling like something from inside is pulling my eye) when i do not have proper sleep and after night journeys. Initially i thought its because of eye sight change and went to check up ,they said everything is fine. My doubt is if all these because of less sleep, then i should feel like sleepy, right? but in my case i feel pain particularly for Left Eye. I am working on computer for 8 hours. what would be the problem?

Hello
I reviewed your history. It is probably because of dry eyes induced by working on computer and it is called as computer vision syndrome. This requires treatment by the use of artificial tears eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
