Could The Pain Below The Belly Button Be Due To Appendix?
Been having pain in my stomach, starting next bellybutton and has moved down a little bit lower seems to subside sometimes after a bowel movement but tends to come back and it s just a dull ache that just doesn t seem to want to go away . it starts in the front and also goes in the back of my right lower side . Dr. ran a blood test on Monday to check my liver and everything came back normal just curious what other things that it could be. It s been close to two weeks now and the pain is not going away could it be my appendix .
Hello, 1) If you had experienced nausea/vomiting, decreased appetite, typical abdominal pain as described by you with laboratory report suggest elevated WBC count then it is highly possible that you might have inflammation in appendix. 2) But such condition can be detected on USG abdomen (done to check your liver) by presence of enlargement of appendix. 3) If you have severe episode of appendicitis then it require surgery, but if attack was first time and mild then antibiotic treatment may subside episode
