Could The Nausea Be Due To Prodeine Forte And Naproxen?

About a week ago, I slipped on ice and fell very hard on my tailbone on a concrete floor. I have pain (not too severe) in the lower and mid back, and also in the tailbone area, but I have also developed nausea and a sickly feeling for the past couple of days. Could this just be from the painkillers I am taking? I am currently taking Prodeine Forte and Naproxen (2-3 tablets per day, combined).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms can be related to side effects of Naproxen which is an anti-inflammatory medication.
I recommend to use a gastric protector such as Prilosec in the morning before breakfast.
I also recommend to use Ondasteron in case that the nausea continue.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
