Could The Itchy Forehead And Tender Eyes Be Related To Huge Knot That I Have Due To An Accident Few Years Back?

I fell off an incline and my face hit a light post. Knocked me out a huge knot but that was 8 yrs ago and is acting up with mail, pins and needles feeling and feels like it is itchy all over my forehead and c eyes very tender to touch. Could it be randomly grown??

Hi,

You may be having a hypertrophic scar that developed after an injury on face. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Itching and pain may be due to hypertrophic scar. Intradermal injection triamcinolone may be considered.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilyas Patel, Dermatologist
