Could The Discomfort In The Chest Be The Symptom Of Heart Attack?
16 years ago i had slight discomfort in the chest. i visited my doctor and was referred to cardiac unit. apparently my ecg made one doctor diagnose a heart attack, whilst the specialist believed it was muscular pain caused by my recent activities. i have this year been diagnosed with blood pressure and my recent ecg gives an identical reading to the old reading, the cardiac specialist advised to take the tablets as precribed by my doctor. and no further action. my main query is could there any doubt of an old heart attack having taken place. iam 67 years old and take 1 low dose aspirin 1 beta blocker 1 blood pressure tablet daily.
