Could The Burning Sensation During Urination Be Due To Sex?

I have this burning sensation in the urethral orfice region for past 8days, i dont see any inflammation , only discomfort during urination. For more details. 3 to 4 weeks before , i had safe sex with my girlfriend wearing condoms. can it be do to the sex ? i dont know and i am bothered about it

Hi,

Yes, burning in urine can be from sex which can result due to infections as well mostly from bacteria.

Sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea can also cause it.

You need to report to an emergency room. You may be required for urine tests to find the cause.

Accordingly if us from an infection you would be treated with antibiotics.
