Could The After Effects Of Snake Bite Be Irregular Heart Beat?
When I was 5yrs old I was bitten by a diamondback rattlesnake.I was put in my bed with no treatment. After about 2-3 months I was able to walk.Could it cause irregular heartbeat as well as other health issues later in life.I m 51yrs old.9yrs ago I had a PVC oblation. It was successful but I have and still have other problems.Could that be results of snakebite
Hi welcome to HCM. Many of the poisonous snake bites can lead cardiac conduction disturbances.THis seems to the cause in your case. Most of the disturbances can be cured when rapid medical attention is given.PVC ablation has excellent treatment outcomes.Other defects would take time to heal.I advice you to have a baseline EKG and 24 hr holter study can be taken by you on semiannual basis for monitoring basis.Consult your cardiologist for further queries. Thank you
