Could Taking Xanax Change The Personality Of A Person?

My girlfriend took a xanax either the day of or the day before a party she went to. She drank a lot that might and did a lot of terrible things she has never done before, and doesn't remember any of the night. Her friends brought her home that night and her mom said she has never seen her like that. Could Xanax have changed her personality that much?

Hi,

Xanax cannot change any body's personality. It also does not work for more than a few hours, so if she took the drug the day before the party or more than a few hours before the party, it can have nothing to do with what happened in the party. Xanax reduces nervousness and makes a person feel calm and in control. It may also cause some sleepiness. Alcohol may have contributed more to her odd behavior in the party as alcohol makes people lose their inhibitions.

Best wishes.
