Could Taking Furosemide And Bishop Roll After Aortic Valve Replacement Cause Harsh Cough?

Hi I have had an aortic valve replacement on 13 December 2012. I now have a constant harsh cough which is very painful and I can,t even speak without coughing. I am on furosemide and bishop roll, could these be making me cough. I cannot take any ace inhibitors as they have this same type of effect. Can you help me,

Hi,

You need to stop bishop roll, to see the effect on your cough problem. Furosemide does not cause cough; on the contrary, it may reduce cough if dry cough is due to an element of left ventricular failure.
