Could Taking Fluoxetine Hcl Result In Decreasing Sperm Count And Cause Mutations To Sperm?
My husband takes Fluoxetine hcl 40mg. We are trying to conceive and have had no luck. I easily got pregnant with our other 2 children before he got on the medicine. Could this drug be the problem? I have read it could decrease sperm count and causes mutations to the sperm.

Fluoxetine does not cause reduced sperm count. Get your husband's semen analysis done to diagnose the health of sperms. Reduced sperms count may be due to low Testosterone levels or, testicular infection.
Treatment of the cause will restore the sperms' health.
