Could Swelling In Stomach After Appendix Removal Be Normal?

Hi I had my appendix out 7 weeks ago (open surgery). This last week I have been in a lot of pain down my right side and lower abdomen. When I walk I feel like my insides are going to full out (only way to describe the sensation). It also hurts a lot when I urinate. I have had no follow up appointment. My stomach is also very swollen. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi. You should an urgent medical attention as there can a local collection or adhesion at the operated site. This has to be diagnosed by urgent ultrasonography or CT Scan of the abdomen. Stop taking food. Go for only liquids orally. Take rest. Do not try anything at home no massage .
