Could Sore Breasts, Cramps, Lightheadedness After Stopping Levlan ED Indicate Hormonal Imbalance?
Hi I stopped taking the pill Levlen ED and are feeling like I am pregnant. Sore Breasts, Cramps and a little light headed. Could this be a hormone imbalance? It s been about 20days since I came off it. I began taking it after my son was born 6years ago.
Welcome to Health Care Magic. I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.
I do not think the symptoms you described are of hormonal imbalance, the symptoms are more like with drawl symptoms from the lack of pill hormones in your body. While you were taking the pill, your body received a constant supply of hormones externally from the tablet. Now that you have stopped the pill, your ovaries are now producing the hormones, but as you had taken the pill for 6 years, which is a long time, it will take a month or two before your ovaries take up the job fully of supplying the hormones. You would notice that over the next 3-4 weeks your symptoms would gradually settle down. Your 1 or 2 periods since coming off the pill would also be a bit irregular or lighter or heavier than before.
I hope I have answered all your queries.
I wish you good luck.
Thank you
