Could Smoking Pot Reduce The Blood Platelet Level When Diagnosed With Liver Cirrhosis?
I have stage 4 liver cirrohosis. I have hepatitis c. Im in my 11th week of harvoni treatment. Today my blood platelets level dropped from 70,000 to 45,000. I smoke pot for the pain. Is pot causing my platlets level to drop? My doctor seems to be at a loss to answer.

Cirrhosis itself cause low platelet and it is not related to use of marijuana. However marijuana or any other recreational drugs nor recommended as you are having a major liver ailment.
