Could Slight Pain In Wrist With Lump On Wrist Bone Be Just A Sprained Wrist?

I hurt my wrist last Saturday at work. I went to the emergency room and the dr just looked at it and said its sprained no xray or anything. He said it would take 3 to 7 days to heal. Its been almost 9 days and still looks the same There is minimial swelling no brusing and I can move it with slight pain. Its my right wrist and there is a large bone like felling lump on the left side right across from where the bone it. could it be worse than the sprain the emergency room dr said it is?

Hi,
Sprain is often painful and pain resolves after 1to 3weeks duration but decreases in its intensity and swelling present .
So if your pain has not even subsided a bit then again visit your doc get reviewed yourself may be this time he prescribe you for x ray wrist .
