Could sickle cell disease be related to hypo menorrhea?
I m 21, i weigh 130pounds 5 4. All my life I ve always had a very regular but very scanty period that lasts about 3days and is brownish in color. I m SS(sickle cell) please could this in anyway be causing this hypomenorrhea ? And pls what could I possibly do to have a normal flow? Thanks

Hello.
Your actual weight should be your height minus 100.
If you are overwight than it is advisable to reduce your weight by avoiding junk food and eating more of salads , vegetables and fruits and drinking atleast 2.5 litre water oer day.
Exercise atleast half an hour per day.
Sickle cell anemia does not cause hypomenorrhea.
You may have to do your thyroid hormones assay.
