Could Sharp Pain In The Vertebral Joint Be Due To Fracture?
I slipped and fell on my upper back, had the wind knocked out of me. I fell HARD right on my back. This happened Thursday 3:44am. I have been icing it and taking Advil. Had been in a lot of pain. and it was getting better. I just took a shower and was feeling good. then all of the sudden a sharp pain when I put my right arm forward. Pain near vertebrae (around T5) just near scapulae. I am a massage therapist, and I took the last two days off due to the injury. I am afraid I may have fractured a vertebral process.

Sharp pain after trauma in your case signifies musculoskeletal pathology.... Just upon the history it is difficult to say about fracture... In my opinion you should consult an orthopedic surgeon for it. You may need to get an x ray of thoracic spines....
Meanwhile take rest and use acetaminophen along with icing. Meet orthopedic surgeon
