Could Severe Pain In Legs Be Due To Arthritis?

A few months ago, I could barely lift my leg to put my socks and shoes on (left leg only) Then, about a week ago, my left started hurting when i put weight on it (such as walking).... I m assuming it s probably arthritis, I m 57. But, I don t really know what to think or if I should look into it further.. or just wait it out??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having degenerative changes in your joints and muscles ledding to stiffness on the joints and muscled\s.
There is possibility of having osteoporosis contributing this problem as well.
Go for light exercises like slow walking, back extension exercise.
Take Calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
