Please type your query here... i am a 53 year old male. i was given oral steroids for a month called Medrol to cure an allergic asthma problem that got resolved but then things started happening that I could not explain. I started itching really bad everywhere and had scars that would bleed because of scratching on my arms and legs. i got scared and discontinued my meds and then it stopped. The wounds are now healing and I do not itch anymore but then I seem to have itching around the cheeks of my anus area every so often. I would put antibiotic cream like bacterin and it would go away for a couple of days then it would come back. It kinda stings a little.. What do I have and is this because of the oral steroids? I also had steroids to spray in my mouth and nose.. seems like I had overdose and long exposure to steroids.
