Could Right Side Abdomen Pain Be Appendicitis Or Renal Stones?
I am experiencing a pain in my right abdomin since 2 days. The pain started near the umblicus, went to lower right side, now shifted little more down towards the lower organ also started in back side. I am confused if it could be appendicitis or renal stones. Please guide
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you. Abdominal pain starting around the umbilicus and moving towards the right lower abdomen is typical of appendicitis. Clinical examination will show tenderness in the right lower abdomen. You can confirm the diagnosis with an ultrasound scan. Ultrasound may also show if there is any ureteric stones.
I hope that answers your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr.R.K
