Could Prolonged Pain And Sensitivity In Feet Indicate Peripheral Neuropathy?

I have developed pain and numbness (cold) and sensitivity in my feet over many years. I am thinking its a peripheral neuropathy, but I have no hand symptoms, no diabetes or diabetic history in my family. I am a regular beer drinker, and I exercise regularly through walks, weights and bike riding. I have slightly high blood pressure at about 135/75. But the feet have felt swollen, sensitive, cold, and at times painful in joints over many years. Any thoughts?

Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns...
What is your age? Is there any family history? Are these symptoms come and go??? Is there any associated weakness or Palpitations???
Based upon history you have provided I don't think you have got any peripheral neuropathy... Stay calm and continue your routine chores...
Hope your query is adequately answered.
Regards
