Could Painful Bruising Of Knee Cap A Symptom Of Cellulitis Or A Blood Clot?

I bumped my knee six days ago and it bruised to inner upper part of knee cap, nice purple painful bruise. Noe it is red and warm to touch and starting to swell. I have a history of P.E.s. could this be a blood clot that close to the knee cap or more like cellulitis?
