Could Pain In Lower Right Abdomen Be Indicative Of Appendicitis?
My 22 year old daughter has been experiencing pain in her lower, right abdomen for years. It comes every once in a while so she was never seen for it, but when it does show up, it really hurts her. She thinks it may be her appendix gradually reaching the point of someday bursting. Could this be true?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Yes pain in lower right abdomen can be indicative of appendicitis. Appendicitis pain is normally on right side of navel, but is very severe. Often patient cannot bear the pain & rush in the emergency department. So the pain your doctor may be facing should not be appendicitis & should be another pain due to ulcerative colitis, kidney pain, etc
refer to a physician for consultation
Hope this information helps
