Could Pain In Chest Be Due To Blowing Nose Vigorously Following A Bad Sinus Infection?
I have been sick for 4 days with a bad sinus infection, blowing my nose constantly. This am I woke up with pain in my chest below my left breast. It feels like a pulled muscle and is sore to the touch. Could this be caused by blowing my nose so vigorously or should I be concerned?

Hello, Welcome to HCM, Your sinus infection has led to these symptoms, the infection of the sinus is nothing but a upper respiratory tract infection which can leads to infection of the lungs and pleura. The pain what you are having is due to irritation of the pleura caused by the infective agents. I would suggest you to take a course of oral antibiotics and oral antihistamines. Thank you.
