Hello,

Numb lips are commonly caused by contact allergies from certain foods or chemicals, or cold weather. Be cautious of what you eat and stay away from metals, animal dander, pollen, etc., that triggers allergy. Apply a herbal based lip liner to keep it moist and healthy. Stay well hydrated. Sometimes, numbness in the lips and tongue can be due to hypoglycemia. Always get your blood pressure and blood glucose levels checked.

Seek immediate treatment if you experience sudden numbness and tingling. It can also be due to nerve injury or damage. Take vitamin B6, B12 rich diet, you can also take supplements. Facial numbness on the right side may be indicative of Bells palsy, MS or stroke. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get all investigations done so that treatment can be started at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
