Could Numbness In Arm During Pregnancy Be Due To Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

My wife is 38 weeks pregnant and has mentioned that her right arm feels like it is asleep sometimes and a little on her left arm. I read that it is probably carpal tunnel, but is that correct? She will mention it to her Dr. next week, but should we worry right now?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is a weakness of upper arm then this need to be examine for cerebral symptoms as such she is pregnant so imaging study may not be possible and clinical examination is the only to diagnose this, if she is not hypertensive then this is nothing to worry, poor posture could be the reason then, hope this information helps, take care.
