Could Nose Bleeding Be Due To Tonsillitis Or Penicillin?

My 9yr old daughter has had tonsilits and been prescribed penicillin. She is 5 days into a course of 10 and has had 3 or 4 nose bleeds. Is it possible that the penicillin or the tonsilitis has caused these and therefore they will go away once the treatment has been completed?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, the bleeding in nose could be due to tonsillitis or local infection in the nose. I suggest you to complete the course of antibiotics, if bleeding episodes persists or increases then an examination of nose by ENT Specialist should be done.
