Could Mucus Discharge From Anus While Having Anal Sex Due To Being Gay Be Infection To Anal Gland?
Hi. My name is Sean. I have had a mucas discharge from my anus for a couple years now. Can t really see it when I go to the toilet. Only when I have Anal sex as a gay man. There is no blood and I heard it could be an Infection to a anal gland and if this is true , what s the treatment, if any?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you are worried about the anal discharge that you have after having anal sex. It is possible that the discharge could be a result of rectal irritation due to anal sex. However, other potential causes such an infection have to be ruled out. This can be confirmed only after a proper physical examination.
So, I would suggest that you see a doctor for a proper examination and further management.
Wish you all the best.
