Could Intermittent Left Chest Pain Be Due To Cardiac Issue?

Hi - I ve had chest pain in my left side randomly for the last 2 months. I ve had a stress test and echocardiogram which were both normal with the exception of a t wave inversion which my cardiologist is considering normal. The pain can happen any time during the day whether resting or exerting myself. It s never happened while sleeping that I can remember. Can this truly be a cardiac issue? My doctors think not but can t tell me what s wrong. I m on omeprazole for heartburn but don t think this is the problem either. Any ideas?

Hi,
this chest pain is less likely due to cardiac problem as your stress test and echocardiogram reports are normal.
This can be due to costo-chondritis or acid reflux.
Continue taking Omeprazole.
Apply some anslgesic cream locally.
Take Ibuprofen as needed.
Ok and take care.
