Could I Have Breast Cancer After A Complete Hysterectomy?

I am 60 . Had total hysterectomy 25 years ago. Stop doing mmg . This week I had a mammogram to appease my Dr. I have nodule in one breast and other breast has nodule. But hard to see. So I m schedule for us. Could I have breast cancer after a complete hysterectomy. Never took horomones.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
There is no chance of breast cancer following hysterectomy along with removal of both ovaries.
The nodule seen in mamography can be an artifact/ arisen from infection, inflammation, fibrosis of breast tissue.
