Could I Be Pregnant With The Delay In My Period?

I m 17 days late, took two pg tests and both were negative. Saw the doctor to see if maybe all the pregnancy symptoms I was and still am having are because of an ovarian cyst. Found out today that my results came back normal. No cyts or kidney stones. I am just confused as what if could be.

Hi,
If you never have been late for your period, and if pregnancy is conclusively excluded through estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres, you need to test for other conditions that cause a delayed period. Sudden weight changes, stress, infections, certain medications, hormone imbalances are the major causes of such disturbances. Please see a specialist to get a complete evaluation and if a hormone kickback is needed to the ovaries to induce a period. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
